Duane Norris took up abstract painting more than a decade ago as a relaxing recreational activity and creative outlet. Over time, his early abstract paintings began to evolve into the flowing, dynamic style that marks his present day artwork.

With no formal art education or training, the journey has been one of great enjoyment, discovery and the simple satisfaction of finding expression in the interplay of shapes, colors and textures on canvas.
